Bluebird Gardens started in 1984 after the 1-acre wooded site was cleared to build a house.

Neighbors "up the hill" warned us absolutely nothing would ever grow on the hilly limestone site.

Since then, Bluebird Gardens has been featured in public garden tours and continues to delight neighbors and visitors, (even though we do loose a few plants down the hill every once in awhile...
