How to Cook Fish and Wash Dishes - At the Same Time??
We've had this recipe in our family recipe books for many years and it works deliciously, too (especially if you remember NOT to add dishwashing liquid.)
Dishwasher-Cooked Fish You'll Need: One Dishwasher. Large plastic roasting cooking bag. Washed Fish (not in dishwasher) 1 or two cups dry white wine. To Make: Put washed fish into a large roasting cooking bag. Add one to two cups dry white wine or a flavored bouillon. Salt and pepper to taste. Tie the open end of the bag securely. Put the fish (in the bag) on dishwasher top rack. DON'T add soap. Close the door and start the wash cycle. For a 1 to 3 lb. fish, one wash, rinse and dry cycle is enough. For 3 to 8 lb. fish use 2 wash, rinse and dry cycles. Garnish with a tulip (photo) which are deliciously edible!

Sound Fishy?
The trick to having goldfish successfully survive outside winter ponds is to make sure the pond water depth is at least 18 inches deep. That way the fish can hybernate in the bottom and stay free of ice. Goldfish will live off their fat reserves as long as they can get oxygen. In the event the pond freezes over, make sure to periodically chop a hole to make sure fish can breathe.
