Ask Charlotte: Is your oak flag case really made in US?

"I saw on your site a "Hand made" Oak flag case.  Is this truly hand made?

As this is what I am looking for.  If it is, I have a request.  This case will be for an Iraqi war Vet to display his deceased fathers flag from the Vietnam war in.  Can you add a small engraving plate on the flag case somewhere with his fathers name and rank on it if I give you the information?
I do not mind paying extra for the service, but this is important to have hand made by a craftsman and not just some cheap piece
of Chinese junk.  I want it to last for generations.
Please let me know ASAP. Thank you in advance....

Hi Tom,

Yes, our flag cases are made by an 84-yr old wood craftsman here in
Missouri. I personally pick them up from his little workshop off his home
about 6 miles from here.

Neither he nor I do any wood burn/engraving but we do have a great jewelry
shop here that makes engraved placques.

If you want to give me the info you would like on the placque I'll be glad
to get you the additional cost.

Best regards,

Charlotte
