Leftover blooming flowers make a charming fall bouquet

fall flower bouquet.jpgIt's  a beautiful, sunny Veteran's Day in the Ozarks, a welcome change to the weeks of rain we've had through October.

I was sitting on my front porch, looking at the blanket of leaves everywhere when I spotted something very unexpected: one of my rose bushes was still blooming!!

Blue Moon rose (photo) joined a lime coneflower, purple scabiosa and a couple of sprigs of Stoke's purple asters.

It doesn't take a lot of flowers to make a charming fall bouquet!
