My family and I spent a long weekend in Melbourne, Florida end of March 2011.
Missouri bird-watching is a favorite pastime of mine, so it was interesting to see how well birds have been integrated into Florida's landscape.
Even Space Coast Stadium, Viera, Florida's field featured a beautiful Osprey flying over and nesting on top of field lights:
It was a spring training baseball game so it doesn't count that St. Louis Cardinals lost to Washington Nationals 3-2.
At Kennedy Space Center, this beautiful Boat-tailed Grackle seemed to be hitching a ride on a space capsule:
