Mrs. Grey, an Illinois antique dealer who was a good friend of my mother, said this handmade antique crochet flowers coverlet dated from around the turn of the 20th century. The crochet work is exquisite, each flower about 4-inches wide in a dark cream thread. Very heavy. I have the quilt on a green quilt so you can better see the detailed handiwork. Mint condition. Mrs. Grey was fond of saying this coverlet is so exquisite, it belongs in a museum.
