From Bluebird Gardens To You - or Them!
After you place your items in your shopping cart, you will have the option to designate what kind of custom embroidery you want, what items you want gift-wrapped, what you want on the gift card and where you want it shipped.

Shipping and handling will be added once you check out. Some items will include shipping and handling to continental US in their listing.

You will have several options on how you want it shipped, including gift-wrapped, which is an additional charge. We will also be glad to ship to a different address. Either way, our shipping includes a free gift card, just let us know what you want on the card.

Want to see how your custom quilt or gift looks before it is shipped to a different address? For $2, we will take several photos and send them to you so you will see your finished gift.

How Soon Will Bluebird Gardens Items Arrive?

We ship as soon as we have items personalized or otherwise customized, which varies from 7-14 business days from when order details are finalized.

For ready to ship items ordered with credit cards and Pay Pal, shipping is normally 3-5 business days from when order is placed. Sometimes we can ship overnight for an additional charge.

If you are buying items for a specific occasion or date, please make sure we know so we can make sure the items arrive on time. Additional shipping charges may apply. We will contact you about those charges either by email or phone.

If paying by check, shipment will normally take place within 20 business days. Please plan ahead and give yourselves at least an extra week to make sure the shipping carrier can get your items to you.

For all shipments including shipments to other locations, I will email you confirmation that the gifts have been shipped and give you a delivery confirmation number you can use to track the package online at US Postal Service, UPS (brown) or whoever does the shipping.

How Bluebird Gardens Ships
For continental US delivery
Bluebird Gardens ships most of our items US Postal Service two-day priority mail so you can track your shipment. We will also be glad to ship through another carrier if you so desire. Email us to request a different delivery service.

For overseas shipping

• The most economical way is US Postal Service economy parcel post (4-6 weeks).

• The next best option is airmail parcel post (4-10 days.) The fastest but most expensive overseas shipping is Global Express (2-4 days). We will be glad to give you an exact shipping cost quote on any one or all three international shipping options.

If your item is returned undelivered and it has to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will be charged.

Shipping to Hawaii and international destinations are priced separately.

Bluebird Gardens Gift-Wrapping
All Bluebird Gardens handmade gifts and personalized gifts that are gift-wrapped include personally handwritten cards and custom embellishments with ribbons and other appropriate decorations for the occasion, such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.

All Bluebird Gardens Items Carefully Packed
All items are carefully wrapped in protective materials as appropriate:

Quilts, lap quilt throws, throw pillows, Raggedy Ann Dolls and other fabric items are shipped in paper to protect them during shipping.

Vases and other breakable collectibles are wrapped in protective bubble wrap, peanuts, shredded recycled paper or styrofoam packing.

Howard Furniture Care and Refinishing Products are shipped in temporary plastic bags for their protection. Because of US Postal Service restrictions, these products are shipped regular parcel post mail, which may take up to 15 days to arrive at their destination.

Depending on weight, recipe books and collectible books are shipped either First Class or Media Materials rate  unless it needs to arrive for a special occasion. Let us know when and where it needs to be shipped so we can ensure it is shipped on time. Additional charges may apply.

Baby quilts are shipped with a book or toy that compliments the quilt and delivers your best wishes on a free gift card.

We recycle boxes in good condition so check the address of origin when you receive your box.
