Bluebird Gardens Custom Quilts & Gifts made just for you

Products: Custom quilts, handmade quilts for sale, embroidered kitchen towels,  baby quilts, vintage quilts, home décor collectibles,  personalized gifts, throws, quilt wall hanging, recipe books, wood refinishing products,  personalized embroidery services, quilting services.

What began in 1998 as a weekend trip with my mother to help find quilts for a friend is now a custom gift business. We make custom quilts in hard-to-find patterns, exclusive patterns with the artist's permission, and unique patterns I design. We also specialize in modernizing old favorites, such as double wedding ring quilts and making quilts out of printed photos, mementos, clothing and other fabrics. Baby crib quilts have become harder to find so we offer a variety of baby quilts in those smaller sizes that can easily be personalized with a baby's name and birth date.

Handmade quilts for sale and ready-to-ship quilts are always available for you if you do not have the time for custom quilts. Please browse in our Shop.

Bee Club Basics, How to Start a Bee Club 2nd Edition

Here’s what’s on the back book cover: “What does a coffee pot have to do with beekeeping? Are you a beekeeper who wants to join forces with others? Are you a 'newbie' who wants to learn about beekeeping? Or maybe you just want to start a non-profit club.

Charlotte Ekker Wiggins offers 286 pages of helpful explanations with advice and suggestions on how to start a new bee club and reinvigorate an existing one.

Charlotte has established more than a dozen educational non-profits since 1979. This guide includes easy to use check lists and guides from how to find a meeting room to beginning and practicing beekeeping subjects to cover in monthly bee club meetings. A pull out section in the back is easy to copy and use to set up your own bee club.

The book and Charlotte’s lecture “Tips on Running a Bee Club” qualify for Great Plains Master Beekeeping Journeyman level credit towards master beekeeping certification.”

We’ve used this book to start and currently continue to use it to manage our very own educational non-profit bee club.

Plan on an estimated 1-2 weeks for media mail, taxes not included. If you need it sooner let us know.

Size of each of both books: 8.5x11x.5 inches

Each book will be autographed by the author. If you want a special autograph, email me and put special autograph in the subject line.

“Bee Club Basics, How to Start a Bee Club 2nd Edition” is one of a three-book series addressing current beekeeping issues. Also available “A Beekeeper’s Diary Self-Guide to Beekeeping.”
