This lap quilt throw concept has been a favorite of some of our customers. The price to have it made in the US, however, was more than people wanted to pay so I have been looking for the design at a better price point.

Enter this brand new, imported 50x60 inch Spring Tree of Life Lap Quilt and Wall Hanging with the detailed, meandering machine quilting that adds elegance to the design.

The standard-sized lap quilt and throw patchwork quilt features multi-patterned cottons in tones of blue, brown and aqua against a vanilla cream background. The same fabrics form the 2-inch applique tree leaves where family names can be custom embroidered for personalized gifts.

Some of our customers have chosen to have a bird, or in another case 10 birds, embroidered on tree branches, one bird to represent each one of the 10 children in the family.

There is also a 2-inch spot under “Tree of Life” where a family name can easily be custom embroidered. There is also space on either size of the tree trunk to add custom embroidery including a dedication, name of family members and special saying.

If not being used, the traditional applique lap quilt has a sleeve on the back so it can easily become a quilted wall hanging. When not in use, the sleeve lays flat on the lap quilt back.
