Ready for a tea party? This vintage extra large Raggedy Ann Doll is, replete with her own colorful ceramic Gingerbread Man tea set. We purchased the doll at a Missouri estate auction. A family member said the polyfill doll with a painted face, and "I love you" heart, was made by their grandmother.
This Raggedy Ann is wearing the old-fashioned red and white checked dress with red rick-rack trim, white bloomers and a white apron. I replaced the worn elastic in the bloomers waist band and washed the muslin fabric doll and clothing so she is ready for her new family. Red yarn hair attached by hand.
Handmade Raggedy dolls were made using a licensed pattern by McCalls and were popular Christmas gifts.
