From Bluebird Gardens To You - or Them!
After you place your items in your shopping cart, you will have the option to designate what kind of custom embroidery you want, what items you want gift-wrapped, what you want on the gift card and where you want it shipped.

Shipping and handling will be added once you check out. Some items will include shipping and handling to continental US in their listing.

All gift items will include a free gift card so let us know what you want written on it.

Want to see how your custom quilt or gift looks before it is shipped to a different address? For $2, we will take several photos and send them to you so you will see your finished gift.

How Soon Will Bluebird Gardens Items Arrive?

We ship as soon as we have items personalized or otherwise customized, which varies from 7-14 business days from when order details are finalized.

For ready to ship items ordered with credit cards and Pay Pal, shipping is normally 3-5 business days from when order is placed. Delivery dates have b ecome unpredictable so plan on at least two weeks from when order is placed if you need something by a certain date.

If you are buying items for a specific occasion or date, please make sure we know. Additional shipping charges may apply. We will contact you about those charges either by email or phone.

If paying by check, shipment will normally take place within 20 business days.

For all shipments including shipments to other locations, I will email you confirmation that the gifts have been shipped and give you a delivery confirmation number you can use to track the package online at US Postal Service, UPS (brown) or whoever does the shipping.

Once the item is shipped, delivery time is in the hands of the shipper.

How Bluebird Gardens Ships

Bluebird Gardens ships most of our items US Postal Service for small items and UPS (brown) for larger items.

We will also be glad to ship through another carrier if you so desire. Email us to request a different delivery service.

All Bluebird Gardens handmade gifts and personalized gifts that are gift-wrapped include personally handwritten cards for the occasion, such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Or just because!

What If Item Has to Be Shipped a Second Time

Sometimes customers give us a wrong address and the item is returned to us. In that event, we will ask the customer to pay for the second additional shipping cost.

All Bluebird Gardens Items Carefully Packed
All items are carefully wrapped in protective materials as appropriate:

Quilts, lap quilt throws and other fabric items are shipped in paper to protect them during shipping.

See our quilt care guide for how to care for your quilts, including how best to store your handmade quilts. Do not store them in plastic.

Howard Furniture Care and Refinishing Products are shipped in temporary plastic bags for their protection. Because of US Postal Service restrictions, these products are shipped regular parcel post mail, which may take up to 15 days to arrive at their destination.

Depending on weight, recipe books and collectible books are shipped either First Class or Media Materials rate unless it needs to arrive for a special occasion. Let us know when and where it needs to be shipped so we can ensure it is shipped on time. Additional charges may apply.

We recycle boxes in good condition so check the address of origin when you receive your box.
