What began in 1998 as a weekend trip with my mother to help find quilts for a friend is now a custom gift business. We make custom quilts in hard-to-find patterns, exclusive patterns with the artist's permission, and unique patterns I design. We also specialize in modernizing old favorites, such as double wedding ring quilts and making quilts out of printed photos, mementos, clothing and other fabrics. Baby crib quilts have become harder to find so we offer a variety of baby quilts in those smaller sizes that can easily be personalized with a baby's name and birth date.

Bluebird Gardens Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your ready made quilt purchase, please return it insured in the same plastic bag it was shipped in within 10 days of purchase. Please let us know by email or call Bluebird Gardens at 573-466-3750 to let us know you are returning the quilt within the 10-day time frame. Ship with delivery confirmation so you are sure it gets returned.

Quilts shipped without the original packaging after the initial 10-day period cannot be credited.

Buyer returning the item pays shipping and insurance.

If we made an error in shipping, we will be glad to pay for return shipping and insurance.

Bluebird Gardens Custom Items Have Sewn Label on Quilt Back
Because we make some of our quilts, our name is hand sewn on a printed fabric label on the back of the quilt. This is in compliance with US manufacturing product identification requirements and maintains our copyright on products we design and make.

We also send a free printed quilt care guide with every quilt.

Computer monitor colors are not the same nor true to original colors. If you have particular colors you need, please check our detailed descriptions, call Bluebird Gardens or email us before you buy to make sure you are ordering a product with the colors you need.

Ensure You Are Getting the Colors You Want

I will be glad to take additional custom photos of the items you are considering buying so that you will be sure of your color match and purchase.

You are also welcome to email us color examples for best color matching.

What is Not Returnable....

  • We trust you understand quilts, lap quilt throws, baby quilts, dish towels, pillows and other fabric items that  have been washed, dried or otherwise handled and treated are not returnable.

  • Personalized and custom quilts produced at the specific request of customers are also not returnable or refundable.

  • Other items that are damaged while in your custody, and that are returned in a form other than the original, undamaged condition, are not refundable regardless of when the item is returned.

  • We will be glad to provide you with a donation receipt for the value of your damaged product and donate it to a local charity on your behalf.

  • If there is a problem with the product when you first receive it, please contact us within 10 days of receipt identifying the issue with your product.
