Made in Missouri, USA Large Flowers Garden Handmade Quilt 75x82 inches features 3-inch hexagons to form the iconic flower designs. Those hexagons in traditional flower garden quilts tend to be closer to 2-inches.

This lightweight one of a kind quilt was made locally although the auctioneer did not have the name of the quilter. You can tell by looking at the floral quilt blocks this what made by recycling clothing. There is a block with navy blue men’s flannel shirt as the outside ring. Some of the other floral rings have similar fabrics that one can tell were from clothing.

The size is also a giveaway that it was handmade, this is a more traditional size for a full size bed although it fits nicely over a queen size (see photos). If you are placing this on a bed with extra padding, it will work well as a coverlet. This quilt could also be used on both a full size and twin size bed, giving the smaller beds fuller coverage down the sides.

The handmade quilt was found stored in an attic. There are a couple tiny holes in the white fabric. This handmade quilt is finished with lovely detailed hand quilting, visible on the back side of the quilt.
