Vintage Dark Pink Tulips Twin Quilt
Vintage Dark Pink Tulips Twin Quilt
Isn't this a visually-stunning patchwork design? It's a challenge sometimes to come up with the actual design name. If the two side pieces of the tulips were a different color, this would be called Turkey Tracks.
Since they are all the same color, they look more like tulips. Dark Pink Tulips Patchwork Quilt is simply elegant with dark pink patchwork tulips against a white background. This is a made in USA patchwork twin size quilt finished with detailed hand quilting, best seen by looking on the back side of the 80x77 inch lightweight quilt.
This has been a well-loved quilt, with borders and binding with wear spots. There are two quarter-size dark stains on the wide, dark pink border that in no way detracts from the overall beauty of this vintage quilt. My guess is this quilt dates from the 1940s or 1950s.
The size 80x77 would fit a twin size or day bed. This quilt would also make a stunning quilted wall hanging on an entry wall. Interior designers periodically buy these kind of vintage quilts to drape over a sofa or chair as a room accent.
