Plan on a hangar for every 3 feet of quilt that's no longer than 60 inches. Longer quilts will need a hangar every 1.5 feet. Wider quilts will require the larger quilt hangars.
If you want the hangars to blend in, paint them the same color as the quilt. To add a little touch of elegance, paint an initial on each quilt block to personalize the hangars.
