From a Missouri estate sale, this twin size 60x79 inch lightweight quilt features patchwork sewing spools against a white cotton background. A solid navy blue border lines the center and the quilt border. Finished with hand quilting. There is a 9-inch border where custom embroidery can be added.
This vintage quilt dates from the 1940s based on the fabrics. Backing is a white cotton but there is no batting, making this lightweight quilt an excellent choice for a quilt wall hanging in a quilting room. Excellent condition.
Beautifully detailed hand quilting 10-12 per inch. Several yellow age stains throughout the quilt and one stain spot about 3 inches wide. This quilt would make a great smaller throw or custom pillows, which we will be glad to make for you. Also an excellent quilt for a stage prop since the colors are strong and easy to see from a distance. Made in USA. Cotton fill.
