This is a pre-loved vintage 1973 cotton quilt with applique black cats and black horses on a white cotton background. Each of the black cats has embroidered faces. The horses also have detailed embroidered eyes and a mane.

Finished with detailed machine quilting, this vintage quilt is edged with green along the border.

Vintage Cats and Horses Twin Quilt is 65×82 inches, an excellent size to turn this lightweight quilt into a quilted wall hanging for a den. Also good size for a throw to curl up in on a sofa with a cat. To curl up with a horse would require a larger quilt.

There are a few frayed edges typical of a 50-year old quilt that doesn’t detract from the charm of the cats and horses.
